Place Ports Dialog Box

To access: select a function in the Design Browser Window or Diagram Window, press Space Bar and enter Port, or right-click an object and select Add Port.

Used to add ports to functions.

Objects

Field	Description
Select Ports	Lists unconnected ports, including their Type, Name, and Port Name that are available for selection. Select any ports that you want to place on the instance of the function and click Place. Click on the locations where you want to place the ports on the block in the Diagram Window.
Show Used Ports	Displays ports not used on a child design (unselected) or all ports used on the child design (selected). The ports displayed in the Select Ports list may change depending on this setting.
Place - Individually	Select this to manually place the ports one by one on the object instance.
Place - As Group	Select this to place all selected ports as a group in one action.

Usage Notes

This video demonstrates how to add pins as a group in Capital Logic Designer. Placing ports as a group follows a very similar procedure.
