Modifying Objects

Adding / Editing Object

Parameters

The parameters of a design object determine the visual appearance of the object on a diagram. For each parameter you can specify glyphs that determine the shape of the object. You can add parameters to and edit the parameters of the following types of objects: devices, plugs, jacks, inlines, ring terminals, splices, blocks, multicores, and overbraids, as well as of pins placed objects. Parameters can be renamed (by changing the value in the Type field) while glyphs can have their Type and Name changed.

Note

The parameters of pins placed on an object are edited in the properties dialog box for the object, not in the properties dialog box of the pin itself.
