Sharing a Modular Connector

The entire modular connector can be shared in one operation.

This is achieved by following the flow detailed in Promoting a Device or Connector.

Note

The Share Into action is not available when sharing modular connectors.

When you share a modular connector, the Modular tab appears in the Edit Shared Plug dialog box (see Edit Shared Dialog Boxes) in addition to being in the properties dialog box (see Modular Tab (Properties Dialog Box)).
