Design Hierarchy
Design hierarchy can be represented using blocks that provide an instant portrayal of objects and functions that eventually will comprise multiple inter-related systems. It is possible to use these blocks to create hierarchical documentation of how system designs within a platform (such as a complete vehicle or aircraft) are interconnected. This is achieved by associating designs to blocks which are connected together using highways. Navigation allows you to go from a block to a design and back again. Reporting on highways lists all the shared connectivity between the connected designs.
