Usages Dialog Box
To access: Select a stacked pin or highway in the Design Browser or diagram and then press the space bar and enter View Usage, or right-click a stacked pin or highway in the Design Browser or diagram and select View Usage.
Used to view which conductors routed into a highway terminate at which pins in a stack of pins.
Note
The columns displayed in the dialog box differ depending on whether you accessed the dialog box from a stack or pins or a highway.
Objects
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Pin Name | Only displayed when the dialog box is accessed from a stack of pins. The name of the pin in the stack. |
| Conductor | The conductor that terminates at the pin. |
| Target | Only displayed when the dialog box is accessed from a stack of pins. The pin or pins on other objects that the conductor is connected to. |
| Connected Pins | Only displayed when the dialog box is accessed from a highway. Lists the pins that the conductor is connected to: the pin in the stack and the pin or pins on other objects that the conductor is connected to. |
Usage Notes
Tip
You can connect Nets together to form a conductor that has more than two ends. The pins that all the ends of the net are connected to are shown in the Target or Connected Pins fields.
