Editing Contiguous Dimension

Properties

You can add or delete the properties of a contiguous dimension on a harness design to display, for example, a tolerance value, or to denote a “Reference Only” dimension.

Properties are added to Object Type Information, see also, creating and editing a project's Object Type Information in the Capital Project Manager User Guide. They are displayed according to styles defined in Capital Styling. See also “Properties” in the Capital Diagram Styling User Guide.

Procedure

  1. Select the contiguous dimension to have its properties edited.

  2. Either:Double-click the selected entity

Right-click the selected entity and select Edit Dimension Properties

  1. The Edit Contiguous Dimension Properties Dialog Box opens.

  2. Click New, and specify a name for the property to add in the New Property Dialog Box.

  3. Enter a value for your selected property, and choose a String, Integer, or Float property.

  4. Click OK.Note To delete a previously defined property. Select the property in the dialog box, click Delete, and then click OK to confirm.
