Adding Text Frames to a
Diagram
To use the drawing tools to add a text frame to a diagram:
Procedure
Press Space Bar and enter Text. The cursor changes to .
Click on the diagram, to place the first corner of the text frame.
Click on the diagram, to place the opposite corner of the text frame. The Symbol Selection Dialog appears.
Enter the text you want to display in the box at the bottom of the Symbol Selection Dialog.
Click OK. The text frame and text is added to the diagram. Tip If the text is not displayed, the text frame is not large enough for the text. To increase the size of the text frame, place the mouse cursor over a corner of the frame so that the stretch icon appears, hold down the left mouse key and drag the corner.
Note If you click once on a pin, connector or device before clicking to start drawing the graphic, the graphic is automatically associated with the object. If the object is subsequently moved, the graphic moves with it.
