Create Shared Splice Dialog Box

To access: Right-click a splice symbol in the Symbol Browser and select Create Shared Splice.

Used to create a new shared object using a splice symbol or to update the properties and attributes of an existing shared splice using the properties and attributes on a symbol.

Note

When you create a shared object definition using this dialog box, no instances of the shared object are created automatically. Once the shared object definition has been created you can add instances of the shared object manually. See Adding an Instance of a Shared Splice.
