Nodal Network

The nodal network is generated when you export the cableway design from NX, to create a lightweight representation of the network using simpler lines that enable fast performance in cable routing.

The nodal network is an abstraction of the 3D cableway design into a logical set of connections represented by nodes which are connected by straight line segments. This defines the paths along which cables can travel in an abstract way along the segments.

The available segments depend on the attributes of each segment, which represent the physical nature of the cableway, for example, cross‑section width and height, Segregation codes, and Fill types.
