Deleting a Footprint from a Device

You can delete (remove) a device connector footprint or harness connector footprint from an existing device so that you can no longer use that footprint.

Procedure

1. Select the device for which you wish to copy a footprint from the Component Device List window and click the edit icon to access the edit mode. The Edit Device dialog box is displayed.
2. Click the > symbol in the Footprints field.
3. Select the footprint from the list displayed and click the More Options icon, then click Delete.
4. The system displays a message requiring confirmation of the footprint deletion. Click Delete.
5. Click the save icon to save your updates.
