Select Derivative Designs

Dialog Box

To access: Click the ellipsis (...) button to the right of the Select Derivatives field on the Edit Harness Design Dialog Box when editing a composite harness.

Used to summarize the derivatives associated with a composite harness.

Objects

Field	Description
Design Details	The following fields display information entered against the derivative (selected in the grid) in the New Derivative Harness Design \ New Derivative Group Dialog Box.
Name	A unique label to identify the derivative harness. Read-only.
Properties	Click to access the Edit Design Properties Dialog Box, to view properties associated with the derivative design. Optional.
Part Number	A unique identifier for the derivative harness in the database. Read-only.
Revision	Specifies the version of the derivative design, enables multiple updated versions of the same design (and therefore, the same Part Number) to exist in the database. Read-only.
Short Description	A line of descriptive text providing more information about the design. Read-only.
Release Level	Displays the design’s progress through the stages of the harness-design life-cycle. Read-only.

Usage Notes

The options in the grid at the top of the dialog box have no effect in Capital Harness Designer and are for reference only.
