Accessing the

Embedded Capital Cable Router in NX

You can access the Capital Cable Router interface in NX to simultaneously manage the cable routing processes, view the 3D nodal network of the system, and visualize the cable routing along the cableway segments.

Prerequisites

• Enable the Capital Cable Router functionality in NX. See Enabling the Embedded Capital Cable Router in NX.

Procedure

1. From NX, click the Cable Router tab.

2. Click the Cable Router ribbon action ().
   The Cable Router icon () is displayed on the Resource bar, and the Login page is displayed.

3. Choose which language to display and enter your User Name and Password to login.Restriction The User Name field supports only English alphanumeric characters. The Password field can also support special characters, such as %, $, #, @, for added security.

Capital Cable Router displays on the left-hand side and the 3D visualization window displays on the right‑hand side. You can perform the following actions to modify the Capital Cable Router interface.

4. (Optional) Click and drag the split between the two windows to adjust the size of the views.

5. (Optional) Click and drag the Capital Cable Router header to undock and move the interface as a standalone browser window. Click the Close icon (X) to re-dock the interface in NX.Figure 30: Capital Cable Router Icons in NX
