Auto-Routing of Signals
When the Auto-route Signal mode is enabled, conductors and in-line connectors placed along the signal path are re-routed and relocated in the case of the in-lines. The in-lines are placed in an optimal position for their connections and may rotate through 90 degrees to provide an optimized diagram.
Note
The Auto-route Signal functionality routes from end to end, including in-line connectors and splices. In-line connectors must have one pin pair, and each pin must be connected to a single wire. Splices must also have at least two wires connected.
You can press the space bar and enter Auto-route Signal or click the Auto Route icon () on the Status Bar to activate or deactivate Auto-route Signal. The icon changes to indicate the active status and which Auto Route mode is active.
