Using a Constraint to Exclude Bundles from Automatic Association
You can exclude bundles and insulation runs from the Auto Update Bundle Associations action by applying the Bundle Association Exclusion constraint on the design.
Usage
Copy
Do not associate bundles matching Name = .* and <any> to insulation run matching matching Name = .* and <any>
Arguments
| Arguments | Description |
|---|---|
CopyName = .* |
Use to specify an attribute or property condition to drive the selection of the associated matching bundle or insulation run. Click Name to select the attribute or property to match. Click = to select the matching condition. Click .* to enter the value of the attribute or property to be matched. |
Copy<any> |
Use to specify a query expression condition to drive the selection of the associated matching object, either a bundle or an insulation run. Click the text to open a popup menu: Edit or New — Opens the Condition Dialog Box, to create or edit a query expression. In the Condition dialog box, click the Advanced Editor button (), to open the Edit Query Expressions dialog box and create or edit advanced queries. See also “Query Expressions”. {any} — Click to apply to all matching objects. Select a predefined query from the list. See “Query Expression Context” to filter items in the list. This can be left as the default |
Description
Any bundles which subsequently violate the constraint (for example, manually associating a bundle to an insulation run that does not satisfy the constraint parameters) are highlighted as warnings by the "Insulation run associated bundle that breaks exclusion rule" DRC. See "Capital Harness Designer and Capital Harness Designer Modular - Harness Designer Rules DRCs" in the Capital Design Tools - Common Functions Guide.
