Converting Nets to Wires
You can use the Nets to Wires action to convert the nets in a single design, or in all the designs in a build list, to wires. The conversion includes individual nets and nets in multicores.
Note
You can use a constraint to exclude specific nets from this action. See Excluding Nets From the Conversion to Wires.
If the project does not contain any build lists and no designs are open, the Nets to Wires action is not available.

Procedure
Press the space bar and enter Nets to Wires.The Nets to wires dialog box is displayed. Figure 100: Nets to Wires Dialog Box
If the project contains Logic build lists, select the scope of the conversion to be the currently-open design or a Logic build list. If you choose Logic Build List as the scope, select the build list from the dropdown list.Note If you select Logic Build List as the conversion scope and the currently-open design has a design abstraction assigned, only nets in designs in the selected build list that have that same abstraction are converted. If there is no currently-open design or if the currently‑open design does not have a design abstraction assigned, nets in all designs in the build list are converted.
Click OK.
Results
Nets are converted to wires.
Net multicores are converted to wire multicores, fully preserving the multicore structure and graphical layout.
Splices are created at wire junctions where a net or shared net has more than two ends in the design or build list (depending on which is selected as the scope).
Shared wires and multicores are created or modified.
The Convert Nets to Wires tab displays in the Output Window and summarizes the creation and modification of objects. Where an object is listed by name, clicking the hyperlink navigates to the object on the diagram.
