Introduction to Capital Dictionary
Capital Dictionary is a web-based tool that captures and manages network signals, network messages, their associations, and their flow.
Capital Dictionary enables network librarians to create a standard, corporate network dictionary for use in functional design (Capital Systems Capture) and platform design (Capital Systems Architect) flows.
You can also manage the life cycle actions of network signals and messages. This allows function designers to create, revise, delete and allocate information for function signals in the downstream process for function design.
Capital Dictionary can aid network librarians with tasks such as:
- Capturing or authoring network signals, network messages, and signal-message association.
- Editing a dictionary of signals and messages with controlled and concurrent user access.
- Versioning network signals and messages.
Once you have specified the description information for network signals and messages, you can capture it all in one library and distribute it to the function and platform design processes.
