Bundle Tolerance

Part of the process to decide if two bundles are equal, and suitable for automatic merging, involves a check that their lengths are the same.

The process classes bundles with differing lengths to be the same length if their percentage difference falls within the following tolerances:

• 10% for all dimension from 0 to 100 mm

• 5% from 101 to 200 mm

• 3% from 201 to 500 mm

• 2% from 501 to 1000 mm

• 1% from 1001 to all other

The tolerances are also used for Reference Nodes.
