Objects
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Available | This field lists all of the wires and multicores that exist within the design. Additionally, any overbraids existing in the design are listed to enable selection for nesting within other overbraids (to enable the authoring of non-continuous overbraids on the same bundle). Wires are listed by name, along with their Material, Spec, and Color. Multicores are listed by name, along with their type (Sheathed or Twisted), OS Material, OS Spec, and OS Color. Overbraids are listed by name. All wires, multicores, and overbraids are dimmed and unavailable for selection unless an overbraid to which they can be added is selected in the Selected field. |
| Selected | This field lists all overbraids that exist within the design. If one or more wires, multicores or nested overbraids have been added, click [+] to the left of the overbraid name to expand the list and view the contents. Once an overbraid has been created (by clicking the New button) wires, multicores or existing overbraids can be added to it by selecting the item in the Available field, and then clicking the Add button. To remove a wire, multicore or nested overbraid from the parent overbraid, select the item to be removed, and then click the Remove button. |
| New | Adds a new overbraid to the Selected list. You must edit the overbraid, adding at least one termination point. Unterminated overbraids are removed when the dialog box is closed. |
| Edit | Click Edit with an overbraid highlighted in the Selected field to open the Edit Overbraid Dialog Box, and modify the attributes or properties of the overbraid. |
| Delete | Clicking this button with an overbraid highlighted in the Selected field will remove that overbraid from the design. If the deleted overbraid is a parent of a nested overbraid, the child overbraid will remain on the design. |
