Changing the Release Level

of Designs

You can change the release level of a functional design and enforce the running of particular design rule checks when doing so.

Procedure

There are the following ways of changing a release level for a design.

If you want to...	Do the following:
Change a release level for a design and run enforced design rule checks.	See “Enforcing Design Rule Checks During Release Level Transitions” in the Capital Design Tools – Common Functions User Guide.
Change a release level for a design using the Edit Design dialog box for it (for release levels where design rule checks are not enforced).	See “Editing the Information for a Design” in the Capital Design Tools - Common Functions User Guide.
