Twisted Pairs and Pitch Tables
If you have a twisted pair in your Capital Systems Integrator design, and you want it to be handled as an in-house multicore that references a pitch table when you synchronize data to Capital Harness Designer, you must specify an OS Spec attribute value for it. The OS Spec value must match a Wire Specification value in the pitch table in Capital Component Manager.
Note
You can specify the OS Spec attribute for the twisted pair in Capital Systems Integrator or Capital Logic Designer.
When you synchronize data to a harness design in Capital Harness Designer, the system matches a pitch definition to the twisted pair, as long as the customer for the harness design has been set to “Use Pitch Table” in Capital Component Manager.
See “Pitch Tables” in the Capital Component Manager User Guide for information on creating and using pitch tables.
