Bundle Manipulation Overview

The position and shapes of bundles can be manipulated to improve the diagrams and formboard layouts, and increase manufacturing efficiency during harness assembly.

To apply the following diagram changes, use the Manipulation Handles to edit the bundle positions and shapes, and preview the operation before applying the manipulation.

  • Bend, straighten, and stretch segments.

  • Create, remove, and resize arcs.

  • Move arcs, segments, and bundles.

  • Rotate segments and bundles.

When manipulating full scale bundles, the bundle is modified dynamically to preserve the graphical length. On non-full scale bundles, the bundle ends are fixed and the segments are modified to apply the graphical length changes.
