Creating and Editing Arcs

You can create, remove, resize, and reposition arcs between two segments on a bundle.

Prerequisites

  • A bundle that contains at least two segments is displayed.

Procedure

  1. To create an arc on a bundle:Hover over or select the segment to add the arc.Figure 86: Resize Handles

Click the Resize icon, at the end you want to create the arc, and drag along the direction of the segment.Dynamic graphics preview the created arc and new shape of the bundle.

Continue to drag until you see the size of the arc you require, and then release the mouse button.Figure 87: Preview of the Created Arc To view creating an arc on a bundle:

Click the Resize icon, and drag along the direction of the adjacent segment.Dynamic graphics preview the resized arc and new shape of the bundle.

Continue to drag until you see the size of the arc you require, and then release the mouse button. To view resizing an arc:

  1. To convert an arc to a waypoint:Note The Min Bend Radius in the Edit Bundle Dialog Box must be 0.

Click the Resize icon, and drag along the direction of the segment.Dynamic graphics preview the resized arc and new shape of the bundle.

Continue to drag until the arc becomes a waypoint and the radius dimensions disappear, and then release the mouse button. To view converting an arc to a waypoint:
