Name Selection Dialog

Box (for Message)

To access: Right-click on the message and choose Properties: a properties dialog box displays. Then click the ellipsis button next to the Name field.

Used to select a network message stored in Capital Signal Modeler and map it to the functional message.

Caution

You can also access the Name Selection dialog box by double-clicking on the functional message name in the diagram window and clicking the ellipsis (...) button next to the Name field. However, this will update the message name only. It will not update other attributes and properties with values from the dictionary message.

Object	Description
Name	The name of the network message in Capital Signal Modeler.
Revision	The revision of the network message in Capital Signal Modeler.
Description	The description of the network message in Capital Signal Modeler.
Short Description	The short description of the network message in Capital Signal Modeler.

Note

The table headers allow you to sort and filter each column. You can configure which network properties and attributes display on this dialog. See Configuring the Display of Network Message Properties in Capital Systems Modeler.
