Edit Ring Terminal Dialog

To access: Press Space Bar and enter Edit (with a ring terminal selected), right-click a ring terminal on the design and select Edit Ring Terminal, or double-click a ring terminal on the design. All fields are described in Add Ring Terminal Dialog Box.

Used to edit a ring terminal on a design. With the exception of the Variant Positions tab, which is only available when editing a variant position ring terminal.

Objects

Field	Description
Variant Positions Tab	Use to specify alternative nodes at which the ring terminal will be placed within each derivative of a composite harness.
Node Name	The node, selected using the Node Selection Dialog Box, at which the variant position ring terminal connector is placed within the derivative applicable to the Option Expression. Read-only.
Option Expression	Specifies the options in which the variant position ring terminal exists at the specified node. To create or edit an option expression, click the ellipsis (...) button to the right of the field and use the Edit Option Expression Dialog Box. Alternatively, you can enter or modify an option expression directly within the field. Mandatory. If the node selected already has an Option Expression defined, this will be offered by default, although it can be overridden.
