Adding a Fixture to a Bundle Segment

You can add and configure the display of a fixture to a bundle segment by selecting the fixture from the library.

Procedure

1. Press Space Bar and enter Fixture.

2. Position the cursor over the bundle where you want to place the fixture and click. When you hover over a valid location, the mouse cursor changes to a placement cross.

3. The Fixture Position Utility Dialog Box is displayed. Set the distance of the fixture from the start/end of the segment, and then click OK.The fixture is added to the bundle and the cursor now displays as

4. To optionally change the fixture direction, right-click and select Change Fixture Direction.The fixture direction changes to the next position in the following sequence: Upward arrow — fixture is positioned at the top of the bundle.

Downward arrow — fixture is positioned at the bottom of the bundle.

Circle at the middle of the bundle — fixture is positioned at the middle of the bundle.

Repeat the right-click selection to cycle through the positions

5. When you have made a selection, double-click or press Enter.The Add Fixture Dialog Box is displayed.

6. Select a fixture from the library and click OK. The fixture is added to the diagram.

7. You can change the direction of the arrow by right-clicking the symbol, and selecting Change Fixture Direction.
