Inline Connector Report in 3D Electrical Design

In 3D Electrical Design in an MCAD environment, you can invoke an inline connector report to view and analyze inline connector details. It reports on all unrouted wires that could pass through an inline connector at any point along their paths. The report can be saved as a CSV file. When using 3D Electrical Design, you can access it from the Design Browser or Wiring Browser in the Capital navigator window, or the right-click context menu of an inline connector in the graphics window or geometry area.

Note

You can also access this by clicking the Show connector detail icon () at the top right of a From or To connector cell tooltip in the Routing Assistant. When you do this, it reports on the unrouted wires present in the selected route through the inline connector.

Full information about the inline connector report is provided in the Capital Wiring Integrator chapter of the Capital Logic Designer User Guide:

  • For information about the report interface, see Connector Details Dialog Box.

  • For information about using the report, see Reporting on All Unrouted Wires That Could Pass Through an Inline Connector.
