a Harness Level for a Harness

You can edit an existing harness level for a harness; that is, change its name, part number, and supported options.

Procedure

  1. Select a harness in the Design Browser (Design tab).

  2. Either:Right-click the selected harness, choose Define Harness Levels.

Press Space Bar and enter Levels. Select the Automate > Complexity > Levels ribbon action.

The Define Harness Levels Dialog Box displays.

  1. Edit the harness level in the Levels table as required:To edit the name, double click it and enter the new name.

To edit the part number, double click it and enter the new number.

Select either models or variant options supported by the harness level. This video demonstrates the behavior when you select models and variants.

Select the options supported by the harness level.

Note If an option is selected for a harness level, this does not necessarily mean that the harness level has any wiring to support that option. The level may be fitted into vehicles that have that option, even if no wires are active for that option in this particular harness.
