Technical Module Code

Within the Module Code browser you can use the following option to manually manage module codes, or instruct the system to create codes for each rows within the combination.

Generated combinations of technical module codes are displayed under this folder ().
User defined module code combinations are displayed under this folder().
In the Valid Combinations table, clicking the ellipsis button (...) in the TM Codes column opens the Select Technical Module Codes for Row Dialog Box to enable you to add or remove codes associated with that row. Once you have added the requisite codes, Click OK to add any missing valid combinations of the selected codes to the row.
Click the button to create technical module codes for each row in the combination that does not yet have a code.
If changes have been made to the module code relationships, the Select Invalid Rows button () can be used to select those rows that are no longer valid. The rows are highlighted and can be deleted using the remove Selected Rows button (), which now becomes available.
To add an optional description to a row in the combination table, select the required TM Code and type your entry into the description column. Sort alphabetically on descriptions by clicking the column header.
To sort non-technical codes, click the relevant codes’ column header. Codes are only sorted if selected.

Right-clicking the valid combinations table brings up a context menu from which the following actions are available:

TM Column — switches on (selected), or off (cleared) the display of the TM Codes column.
Description Column — switches on (selected), or off (cleared) the display of the Description column.
Filter by codes — opens the Choose Module Code Views Dialog Box, to select only those codes you want to view. The table will display only the columns of the selected non-technical module codes.
Filter by design — opens the Show Applicable Codes Used In Design Dialog Box, to show only the codes that are used as applicable codes for designs.
Show All — removes any filters that have been applied to the window, reverting the display back to its original state.
