Editing the Properties
of a Diagram
If the necessary permissions have been set for your user account in Capital Access Manager, the Edit Diagram facility allows you to:
Edit the name of a diagram. If you accessed this facility when creating a new Capital E/E Publisher design, you cannot edit the name in this facility.
Add a property to a diagram.
Delete a property from a diagram.
Procedure
Right-click on the name of the diagram in the Project Browser Window on the upper left of the software window, and then select Edit from the pop-up menu that appears.
Make changes as required:The Name field can be edited. If valid names for diagrams have been created in Capital Project Manager, you can select a name by clicking the ellipsis button (...) to display the Name Selection dialog.
Click New to add a new property. The NewProperty dialog appears. Enter the name of the property in the Property Name field, and then click OK. The property is added to the Properties table. In the Type column, click on the row for that property, and then select the type of value that the property can have: String — a mixture of letters, numbers and special symbols
Integer — a whole number
Float — a decimal number
In the Value column for that property, enter the value that you want the property to have, and then click OK.
Click on the property name in the Properties table, and then click Delete, to delete a property.
Click OK.
