Bundles and Insulation Runs if Dimension Exists at Optional Node Examples

You can use this project preference to influence how the composite or modular breakdown process merges bundles and insulation runs (where a dimension start or end point exists at a node that could potentially be removed) when run with the “Merge Bundles and Identical Insulation?” setting selected.

In this example, the project preference “Merge Bundles and Insulation Runs if Dimension Exists at Optional Node” is set to “Yes” as in Figure 73.

The example uses bundles, but the same principle applies to insulation runs.

Figure 75 shows the result of running composite or modular Breakdown with the preference set to Yes.
