Specifying a Part Number for a Harness Level

You can specify a part number for a harness level. This part number is not used in Capital Component Manager. If you have combined harness levels, you cannot specify a part number for a child harness level.

Procedure

Select a harness in the Design Browser (Design tab).
Either:Right-click the selected harness, choose Define Harness Levels.

Press Space Bar and enter Levels. Select the Automate > Complexity > Levels ribbon action.

The Define Harness Levels Dialog Box displays.

Enter the part number in the Part Number column, and click OK.Note The Part Number field in the Edit Properties Dialog Box for the harness level updates with the value entered here. If you change the value in that dialog box again, this column updates also.
