Deleting a Multicore

There are multiple ways to remove a multicore from a harness design.

Procedure

Select a multicore in the Harness Design Browser, and then either:

• Press Space Bar and enter Delete.

• Right-click the multicore and select Delete.

• Press the Delete key. Note Depending on Behavior settings specified at the Project level, you may be prohibited from deleting certain object attributes and properties. These are displayed as read‑only.

Results

• The multicore is removed from the Harness Design browser, any cavity tables in which one or more of its inner cores were placed, and from the harness wire table. If the multicore was Shielded, the shield is also deleted. Note Multicores can also be deleted from within the Edit Multicores Dialog Box; with a multicore selected in the Selected list, click the Delete button, and then click OK.
