Using or Replacing the Self-signed Certificate in an Existing Smart Client Package
After you have generated a keystore certificate to manage https connections for a Smart Client, you can use it in an existing Smart Client package.
Prerequisites
You must have generated the .keystore file that you want to use. See "Creating a Keystore File for Use in Smart Client HTTPS Connections".
Procedure
- Copy the generated
.keystorefile to the<package_output>/libdirectory.
Note: The keystore file name must be keystore.
Change the
keystorePasswordandmanagerPasswordin the<package_output>/Packets/server-config.xmlfile to be the password you specified when generating the.keystorefile.Restart the server.
