Advanced Restriction

Advanced restrictions are additions to ‘must have’ and ‘cannot have’ restrictions. They are used for complex restriction expressions, or perhaps include Boolean operator types for which Capital does not have direct support currently.

You cannot create or edit advanced restrictions in Capital. You must create and edit them in an external translator that creates xml that you can include in a pro product plan for import into Capital.

An advanced restriction allows you to enter an invariant expression. Essentially, that is an expression that must always be true. The key is to translate the concept you have, which could be a natural language text, into Boolean operators such that algebra can be used to simplify it or convert it into operators that the advanced restriction supports.
