Specifying the Applicable Options for a Design

You can limit the options that can be applied to objects on diagrams in a design revision.

Procedure

1. In the Project Browser, right-click the design revision and select Edit. The Edit Design Dialog Box is displayed.

2. Click the Applicable Options ellipsis button (...). The Applicable Options Dialog Box is displayed.

3. Select the options to add to the applicable options of the design revision in the Available list and click Add to move them to the Selected list. Alternatively, click Add All to move all the available options to the Selected list.Note Options are created for the project as a whole and not for each individual design revision. If no options have been created for the project, no options will be displayed in the Available or Selected lists in the Applicable Options dialog box. See also Options and Option

4. Remove any options that you no longer want to be applicable to the design revision by selecting them in the Selected list and clicking Remove to move them to the Available list. Alternatively, click Remove All to empty the Selected list.

5. Click OK.

Results

• Only options specified in the Selected list in the Applicable Options dialog box can be applied to objects on diagrams in the design revision.
