There are particular design rule checks related to consistency that you can run for a Capital Systems Modeler design.

Dictionary signal/message out

of date

Checks if a design signal or message has been changed compared to its original Dictionary definition. If triggered, you can update the signal or message in the design by editing its properties and re-selecting the dictionary definition through the Name ellipsis button.

Note

Only the first 1024 characters of the dictionary signal or message value table is considered by the check, the rest is ignored.

Also identifies:

• Where the Dictionary Message Name, Dictionary Message Revision, Dictionary Signal Name, Dictionary Signal Revision attribute values on a functional signal or message do not match any network signals or messages in the dictionary. This means, you need to check those values in the Properties dialog box for that functional signal or message, and edit them so that they match the correct values in the dictionary.

• Where the Dictionary Message Name, Dictionary Message Revision, Dictionary Signal Name, Dictionary Signal Revision attribute values on a functional signal in a design are different from those attributes on the mapped network signal or message in Capital Signal Modeler. This means, a network signal or message attribute has been changed in Capital Signal Modeler but the change is not reflected in the functional signal or message. To fix this, remap the function signal or message to the network signal or message. See Mapping a Function Signal to a Network Signal, Mapping a Functional Message to a Network Message, or Associating and Disassociating Functional Signals or Messages with Network Signals and Messages.
