Splices

Center Strip Splices

Center strip splices are constructed by removing a section of insulation from a wire, and then binding an incoming wire end onto the exposed core.

Center strips define the way in which a wire is terminated at a splice, and are positioned at existing splices on a diagram, but as the creation of a center strip involves modifying wires, the splice is defined against the incoming wire in the Edit Wires Dialog Box, which is assigned to the splice cavity "CS". The following topics detail the creation, maintenance and deletion of center strip splices:

  • Adding a Center Strip Splice

  • Editing a Center Strip Splice

  • Deleting a Center Strip Splice
