Assign Library Multicore

Dialog Box

To access: Click the Insert button in the Part Selection dialog box when assigning a library part to an existing multicore. Alternatively, click the Reassign button () next to the Library Part field in the properties dialog box for a multicore that has a library part assigned.

Used to associate wires in a library mulitcore with wires in a multicore that has already been added to a design.

Objects

Field	Description
Library Multicore	Empty if all the inner core wires in the library part have been assigned to a conductor in the multicore that has already been added to a design. Displays the library part as a tree with each unassigned inner core as a child node of the multicore node.
Group	Displays the multicore that has already been added to the design in a tree with the multicore indicators and each conductor in the multicore as child nodes of the multicore node.
Assign	Select a wire in the Library Multicore list and a conductor in the Group list then click to create an association. Select the multicore node in both the Library Multicore and Group windows and click to automatically assign all wires.
Unassign	Select a conductor in the Group list and click to remove the association with the library part inner core wire. Select the multicore node in the Group list and click to remove the library part inner core associations from all the conductors in the multicore.
