Placing a Bundle

The process follows a set of rules when you place a bundle by clicking an empty space on a merged diagram.

  • If the merged diagram has no nodes, the bundle is placed.

  • If any of the nodes of the bundle being placed are already merged to an existing node on merged formboard, the process places and links the them automatically.

  • If none of the end nodes of the bundle being placed are already merged, the process highlights one of the source bundle end nodes in the preview window as in Figure 372, and displays a tool tip on the status bar as in Figure 373 (you can press “T” to toggle between the end nodes). The Place action waits for you to select a select a node on the merged formboard to merge the highlighted node on the source harness with. If you click into empty space, the process places the bundle without merging nodes.
