Wiring for Internal Slot Connectivity

Following wiring synthesis, a wiring view of the synthesized signal(s) or a multicore can be generated or visualized. The generated wiring view shows slot names with functional device pins, connector and wires that implement the selected signals.

Placing multiple logical devices in an integrator slot results in internal connectivity between the slot devices if there are nets between them. Internal slot connectivity is identified within the slot Signal Map and you may elect to unmap internal signal candidates to prevent wires being synthesized for these signals and the internal connectivity being shown in Visualize Wiring.

You can use the View Details button () within Visualize Wiring which enables you to view details of all connections within a selected slot, including any internal slot connectivity when present. The View Details button implementation is fully pluggable offering full control over what and how the slot connection information is displayed.

The View Details button is enabled when the Visualize Wiring Details plugin is present in the plugin path.
