PM Codes Tab - Build Sequence
You can configure the PM Codes tab to display "Build Sequence" information, to represent the order that production modules are assembled during the harness manufacturing process. You can use the Build Sequence as guidance when you are performing line balancing.
Build Sequence Tab
Select Enable Design Override of Production Codes from the Automate > Modules ribbon, to see the information on the PM Codes tab displayed on two sub-tabs, "Applicable" and "Build Sequence".
See Using Module Code Override for information on overriding module codes.

The Applicable tab displays the content of the original PM Codes tab.
The Build Sequence tab displays a tree view of all the PM Codes (including nested PM Codes), with an initial Build Sequence number displayed in front of each PM Code to denote the intended order of assembly.
You can drag and drop, or use the( ), to move individual, or multi-selected codes, to the required sequenced position.
You can only move nested codes within their nested level.
This video shows example usage of the Build Sequence tab.
Plugins
The Build Sequence attribute is available in the Capital API. You can use it to create custom plugins that will allow you to:
Automatically set the Build Sequence based on a predefined set of rules.
Create styling decorations to display build sequence information.
See Extensibility Plugins and API, Plugin, and Web Service Documentation for further information on creating plugins.
