Creating a Wire Count Report for a Connector

You can create a wire count report (in HTML) for a connector (inline, slot, or interface). The report provides details about the number of wires that are connected to the connector in the various harness levels and options.

Prerequisites

Option Expressions must exist on wires before you can generate a wire count report.

Procedure

Select the connector in the Diagram Window or Design Browser (Design tab), press Space Bar and enter Platform.
The Wire Count Report dialog box displays. Select the directory where you want to save the report and specify the file name. If you want to view the report immediately, check the Open in Browser box. If you do not want to view the report immediately, uncheck the box.
Click the Save button.
If you have checked the Open in Browser box, the report displays.
