Removing

an Association Between a Block and a Design

You can remove the association between a block and a design to then associate it with another design.

Procedure

  1. Do one of the following:Select the block, press the space bar and enter Properties.

Right-click the selected block and select Properties.

Double-click the selected block.

Select the block and press ALT + Enter.

The General Tab (Properties Dialog Box) [Blocks] is displayed.

  1. Click the icon in the Associated Design field, to disassociate the block and design.

  2. Click OK.

Results

  • The block and design association is removed and the Block icon reverts to () in the Design Browser.
