New Integrator Design Dialog
Box
To access: Either right-click on a project in the Project Browser Window and choose New Integrator Design, or press Space Bar and enter New Integrator Design.
Use this dialog box to specify the attributes and properties of a new Capital Systems Integrator design when you create it.
Objects
| Object | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the design. This field is mandatory. If you have created valid names for the designs in Capital Project Manager, you can select a name by clicking the ellipsis button (...) to display the Name Selection dialog box. |
| Properties | You can click the Properties button to display the Edit Design Properties dialog box that allows you to add or remove properties for the design. |
| Revision | The revision of the design. This field is mandatory. |
| Short Description | A brief description for the design. |
| Description | A detailed description for the design. |
| Plan | Specify whether you want to associate an existing Pro Product Plan or Basic Plan with the design. You can click the ellipsis (...) button to display a dialog box where you select the plan. One or more plans must existing already to use this field. If you want to associate an existing pro product plan, you must have a Capital Configuration Optimizer license and it must be enabled. |
| Release Level | The release level of the design. Release levels are created in Capital Project Manager. See the Capital Project Manager help system for more information on creating release levels. |
| Abstraction | The level of abstraction for the design. A level of abstraction is a user-defined value that is assigned to a design and indicates what type of design it is. For example, a top-level overview of a system could be labeled with a level of abstraction System and a more detailed schematic of the same system could be labeled with a level of abstraction Schematic. Levels of abstraction are created in Capital Project Manager. See the Capital Project Manager help system for more information on creating levels of abstraction. |
| Domain | The domain of the design. See the Capital Project Manager for more information about domains. |
| Option Expression | The option or option expression that you want to apply to the whole design. You must enter this in the Option Expression field by clicking the ellipsis (...) button to display the Edit Option Expression dialog box. |
| Diagram Details | Specify the details for the first diagram that you want to create for this design. |
| Template | If required, specify a template design that you want to use for the diagram. If you select a design with multiple diagrams, the Name and Style Set fields below this are unavailable. |
| Name | Specify the name of the diagram. If you have created valid names for the diagrams in Capital Project Manager, you can select a name by clicking the ellipsis button (...) to display the Name Selection dialog box. |
| Style Set | The style set that you want to apply to the diagram. See the Diagram Styling User Guide for more information about style sets and how to edit them. |
| Properties | he style set that you want to apply to the diagram. See the Diagram Styling User Guide for more information about style sets and how to edit them. |
