Rotating Segments
You can rotate segments on bundles.
Restrictions and Limitations
By default, these actions rotate bundles in degree increments (from 1 - 90), specified by the RotationAngleRoundingValue parameter you have configured in Design Settings.
You can achieve a finer level of precision (less than one degree) by disabling Polar Mode () and Grid Snap () on the Status Bar.
Prerequisites
- A bundle that contains at least two segments is displayed.
Procedure
- To rotate a segment using the Rotate (Center) handles:Hover over or select the segment to rotate.Figure 96: Rotate (Center) Handles
Click the Rotate (Center) icon, and drag in an elliptical direction around the segment ends.Dynamic graphics preview the new position of the rotated segment.
Continue to drag until you see the new position you require, and then release the mouse button.Figure 97: Preview of the Rotated Segment To view using the Rotate (Center) handles:
- To rotate a segment using the Rotate (End) handles:Hover over or select the segment to rotate.Figure 98: Rotate (End) Handles
Click the Rotate (End) icon and drag in a circular direction around the fixed point of the segment.Dynamic graphics preview the new position of the rotated segment.
Continue to drag until you see the new position you require, and then release the mouse button.Figure 99: Preview of the Rotated Segment To view using the Rotate (End) handle:
