Select Fixture Part Numbers

You can use this action to analyze the currently selected fixture(s), or all fixtures if none are selected, in the active diagram using the Automatic Part Number Selection Rules.

Procedure

1. Press Space Bar and enter Fixture P/Ns.

2. Alternatively, right-click the diagram or on a fixture on the diagram or in the tree browser and select Select Fixture Part Numbers from the popup menu

Results

• This action analyzes the currently selected fixture(s), or all fixtures if none are selected, in the active diagram.

• It clears any fixture part numbers assigned (including any additional components configured against the fixture part number) and attempts to select a matching fixture (including any mandatory additional components that are defined against the fixture part number) based on the Automatic Part Number Selection Rules.

• A message is displayed in the Output window for any fixtures that can not be assigned a part number, for example: “No part number selected for fixture: FIXTURE1234”.
