Merging Wires

You can merge two wires together.

Procedure

  1. Position the cursor over an end of one of the wires. The end section of wire is highlighted and the cursor changes to .

  2. Click and drag the end of the wire onto the end of the wire to merge it with.A larger square is displayed around the square at the end of the wire to indicate that a connection will be created if you place the end at this location.

Results

  • The two wires become one wire.

Note

You cannot merge a wire with another wire by placing the end of one on a mid-point of another or by moving one wire so that one of its ends is co-located with the end of another wire.
