Bundle Configuration
Overriding Graphical Bundle
Length
You can change the drawn length of a bundle in a full scale diagram without affecting the bundle’s specified, real-world length. This technique can be used, for example, when drawing a bundle that needs to be manufactured at an angle from the plane of the printed harness design; the drawn length can still accurately represent the two-dimensional extent of the real-world bundle, despite the true length of the bundle being greater.
Note
The option to create full scale diagrams is a licensed operation. If you do not have the required license, this option is unavailable.
Procedure
Right-click the bundle whose length you want to override and select Override Graphical Length. The Override Graphical Length Dialog Box is displayed.
Enter the new Bundle Length.
Click OK. The bundle is redrawn at its new length, but the specified, real-world length is unchanged.Note You can revert a bundle to its original drawn length, re-synchronizing the drawn and specified lengths, by right-clicking it and selecting Undo Overridden Bundle Length.
