Formboard Designer

This chapter explains how to use Capital Formboard Designer / Capital Formboard Designer Modular, to add and manage the formboard fixtures that support the harness wires along the bundles and through junctions.

Note

To use Capital Formboard Designer / Capital Formboard Designer Modular you require a valid license. Contact your Siemens representative to obtain a license.

You can place the fixtures manually or choose from a set of rules that control automatic fixture placement and distribution.

Fixtures can be placed on certain harness objects, bundle segments, along the path of bundles and at structure nodes.

Fixtures are only available on a full scale width diagram. See Bundle Width.
