Mapping Pins in the Generative
Flow
If you are using a generative flow, the values specified for the following pin attributes are used to map pins when Capital Systems Integrator synthesizes wiring for the design.
Tip
See also “Synthesizing Wiring” in the Capital Systems Integrator User Guide.
Pin attributes are edited in the Properties Dialog Box for the pin.
Connector Group Specifies the name of the virtual connector to which the pin maps when it is placed in a slot in a Capital Systems Integrator design.
Connector Cavity Specifies the name of the connector cavity to which the pin maps when it is placed in a slot in a Capital Systems Integrator design. Normally, the pin will map to a cavity with a name equivalent to the value of this attribute. However, a connector part may restrict the matching of the name.
Note
These attributes are read-only if the pin is from a footprint.
